Every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, friends and families gather at the waterfront for a dazzling spectacle of lights on the Savannah River. The 24th Annual Savannah Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Led by the Georgia Queen Riverboat, over 30 boats adorned with extravagant holiday light displays will loop twice from Eastern Wharf to the Talmadge Bridge and back past Plant Riverside District and all of River Street.
